Tar files are an alternative to Zip archives. The tar format is often used in conjunction with gzip (gz) or bzip2 (bz2) compression. This tool unzips and unpacks tar archives in your browser. If there are sub-directories inside the tar file, it will convert the whole tar file to a zip file.
